The chenille pupa is a caddis pupa tied on curved hook (Firehole 315 or Ahrex 525), body of Floatant Chenille, squirrel dubbing and a partridge hackle. An outstanding fly tie that sits right in the surface film to resemble the real thing.

Tip:
To more easily see when the fish takes the fly in fast water, tie it approx. 20-30cm into the hook bend after a high floating fly, e.g. Goddard Caddis
